"A ROSA DE HIROSHIMA"

“... então, cheios de hipotecas e
cansados da exploração dos ricos chonin,
foram obrigados a entregarem suas terras
para pagamento de suas dívidas.
Resolveram, então, emigrar;
sonhavam ganhar dinheiro (o máximo possível)
e regressar à pátria.
E foi assim que Okuni
viu seus familiares e amigos
desaparecerem no horizonte,
a bordo do Kasatu Maru.
Okuni decidiu ficar, sonhava com a paz em seu país,
com uma sociedade justa,
e cultivava seus costumes e tradições.
Okuni não percebeu que a guerra
tomava um vulto cada vez maior;
refugiou-se dentro de si,
porque via seu povo sofrer,
um sofrimento que já vinha de muitos anos .
Um dia,
Okuni viu uma imensa luz no horizonte,
sentiu sua pele queimar,
ele era a própria imagem de seu país.
A partir desse dia ele foi testemunho,
virou personagem,
viu nascer o novo Japão.”

"... then, with a lot of mortgages and tired of the exploration of the rich ¨chonin¨, they were forced to give their lands for payment of their debts. Then they decided to emigrate; they dreamed to get money (as much as possible ) and return to the homeland.
And it was like this Okuni saw his relatives and friends to disappear in the horizon, on board Kasatu Maru.
Okuni decided to stay, used to dream with the peace in his country, with the justice in the society , and it cultivated the habits and traditions.
Okuni didn't realize that the war was became more larger; he took refuge inside of himself, because saw his people suffering, that already came from many years.
One day, Okuni saw an immense light in the horizon, it felt his skin burning, he was the own image of his country. From this day on he was the testemony, he became character, he saw to be born the new Japan ".

The Show was inspired in Hirofumi Oguri's deposition - Citizen of Hiroshima.
